Fintech brand grows Romanian organic signups with editorial links

A licensed payments company needed Romanian trust signals before a consumer push. In nine months we built 64 editorial links and supported a 142% lift in organic sessions from Romania.

Challenge

Where things stood

Payora ranked on page two for high-intent Romanian queries like account opening and SME payments. Competitors held stronger news coverage and denser .ro referring domains. Paid social was converting, but CAC was rising and organic trust signals were thin.

Strategy

What we executed

We mapped a 3:1 mix of niche finance blogs to national business media, added two data-led PR angles on SME cash-flow habits, and kept anchors 70% branded or naked URL. Content focused on compliance explainers and founder commentary that editors would actually accept.
